    We are still waiting for our berries to ripen. I have a patch of black raspberries too. I got the canes from my grandparents farm before it was sold. I have many summer memories of wading through their patch getting completely scratched from head to toe picking a few quarts of berries. Yesterday Baylor fell onto a small cane and got his first thorn in his thumb and scratches on his arm. I was almost proud of him.
